Cool Frontal Relief: Shower Threat – Then, Cooler – MONDAY Video

Good morning!   This is the day a Cool Front moves all through Alabama.  There will be showers and a few t’storms ahead of the front.  Fingers crossed on potential rainfall amounts.  I am, not very optimistic.  BUT, this is the front that turns off the heat.  Temperatures will be much more comfortable in the week ahead.  And, guess what?  There will be a second Cold Front at the end of this week that I think will deliver :The Real Deal” change to much cooler, by the weekend.  That would be nice!   I’ll fill in the details on a very important Monday morning weather briefing.

The front moving through the state, all day today, will reach southeast Alabama this evening.  Hopefully, the band of showers ahead of the front will hold together, but I am not overly optimistic.

Some of the models print out some very disappointing rainfall amounts in central and South Alabama as the front moves through.

The air behind the front will bring in some comfortable temperatures this week with highs in the 80’s and lows in the 60’s   A second cold front will bring a risk of some showers by Friday and Friday night.

The SECOND cold front this week…I am excited about.  It has the “Real Deal” Cool air behind it, just in time for next weekend.

These are just RAW model numbers from the GFS.  We never take the actual numbers literally, but we like the trend next weekend behind that second cold front!
