SATURDAY UPDATE:  In-between Storm Systems – Warming Trend Soon

It’s a COLD sub-freezing Saturday morning start.  But, total sunshine will help us make a big afternoon recovery.  That will lead to a mild Sunday, too.  But, guess what?  Showers will be returning to the forecast and it looks like some wet times in the week ahead.  Warmer days are on the way, before yet another late week Cold Front.

TODAY AND TONIGHT:   A Cold start, below freezing this morning.  But, total sunshine will lead to a nice afternoon recovery.  High today 61.  That’s actually normal.  So, for various Mardi Gras parades and festivities, it should be a good day. (Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph)   Partly cloudy tonight.  Low 42.

“FFY” SUNDAY:  Some models show showers Sunday, others don’t.  I have a small 30% chance in for Sunday and Sunday night.  High in the Low to mid 60’s.

NEXT FEW DAYS:    A few Spotty showers on President’s Day Monday.  Showers and thunderstorms become more likely Monday night, Tuesday into Wednesday.  Highs will be in the 70’s Monday and Tuesday.  Cooler Wednesday.  Much cooler Thursday and Friday.

BAILEY – THE BEST DOG IN THE WORLD:

“My heart is broken in a million pieces
since we said our final goodbye today, Bailey.
But here’s the best part. We got to spend an extra six wonderful weeks together.  You were happy, hungry, and playful …wagging your tail, and smiling. Even yesterday, you were a completely normal, happy dog.
I am thankful for each of the 1,978 days we spent together
. Who rescued who?
Nobody could ever love a dog as much as your Daddy has loved you.
I will see you again someday. I’m sure of it! “
-Your Daddy

Thanks to all of you for your kind messages.  This is an absolute terrible loss for me.  My world was Bailey-centric.  But, I have wonderful memories and pictures, and I am a better person for knowing and loving this dog for seven+ years.  BEST dog in the world…  It hurts.

I’ll have another Blog update for you in the morning.  Have a nice Weekend

-Rich
