Good Morning! Get ready for real summertime preview over the Memorial Day Holiday weekend. Alabama will be heating up in a big way. Hot temperatures, increasing humidity and pop-up summer-like showers will make it feel more like late June than late May. Which days will be hottest? What about the daily rain chance? I have updated the weekend details for here and the Gulf Coast Beaches.. And, we’ll look ahead. Is this summer-like pattern locked in for next week, too?

The upper low which has taken residence over our region, will lift to the northeast. A high pressure ridge will build in the upper atmosphere, and that spells a hot holiday weekend.
It will not only get hotter over the weekend, it will come increasingly more humid, which will lead to scattered, random pop up thuderstorms, most numerous in the afternoon and evening.
