Good Morning! Hang on. At least some limited humidity release is on the way very soon. A frontal system will cross our state today. Strong thunderstorms are possible ahead of the front this afternoon. A couple of storms could be severe. Less humid air overspreads the state tonight. You’ll feel the difference on Thursday. Over the weekend, some humidity tries to creep back Saturday. But, overall, the news I have about the weekend and the next several days is pretty good. I have updated the details for here and the Gulf Coast beaches through Monday. How long will we stay storm-free?
Front moves across the state today. Strong storms ahead of it. Less humid air filters in by late tonight.
Marginal Severe risk covering the eastern 2/3 of the state today. Damaging wind gusts will be the main threat.
The front will move through central Alabama this afternoon. Line of strong storms ahead of it.
Can you pick out where the nicer air will be at 10PM tonight, The truly awful dewpoints will be replaced by more tolerable air for awhile.
All in all …looks like a nice string of days ahead. Humidity tries to make a mini-comeback Saturday. I added a 20% rain chance. But mainly storm free after today…
