Behind the storm system, it will turn windy and sharply colder on Christmas Eve, as Arctic Air funnels into the Deep South. Christmas Day will be COLD and brisk. The Frigid block of arctic air in Canada will cross the border tonight and head for the Deep South. Christmas Eve will be windy and sharply colder,
Showers and storms will overspread the state Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
The Storm Prediction Center has added a Marginal Severe Risk for much of the state. A few tornadoes can’t be ruled out, especially in south Alabama.
Christmas Day will be cold and brisk. Highs barely in the low 40’s.
Wind Chill Christmas Day could be in the mid to upper teens.
The numbers on the Christmas Forecast speak fore themselves. Coldest Night will be Christmas Night.
After the Christmas Arctic Blast, looks like a little recovery over the weekend and not quite as cold.
