Good Morning! Rain chances are little better today, but the remnants of tiny Danny will have very little impact on our weather as the tropical system designates quickly. However, having said that, the atmosphere will become much more conducive to showers and storms over the next several days. In fact, an approaching frontal system will play a significant role in the Holiday Weekend forecast. I have updated the rain chances through the 4th of July weekend and beyond for here and the Gulf Coast. We’ll check the rest of the tropics. I have the latest on Invest 95-L in the Atlantic.
Danny will have very little impact on us today. But, there will be an uptick in the number of storms on radar.
Rain chances will increase quite bit over the next few days. More storms to go around. Especially Friday through the holiday weekend.
Unfortunately, the chances of encountering storms at the coast will be increasing. Better than normal rain chance through the Holiday Weekend. Moderate rip current risk.
Besides Danny, we’re still watching Invest 95-L in the Atlantic. The EURO gives it a good chance of becoming Tropical Storm Elsa in the Caribbean.
