SUNDAY UPDATE: Nice Fall Pattern – Cool Days – Jacket Weather Nights

Good Morning!  The forecast has unfolded exactly as expected.  We’ve anticipated this cool front for 2-3 weeks, and it did not disappoint

It’s a very Chilly Sunday morning, as I prepare your update. Coolest of the season so far.  Morning lows around dawn will be in the 40’s statewide.  Even some upper 30’s in north Alabama.  We’ll be at least as cool Monday and Dawn, if not a couple of degrees lower.

Expect a couple of sparkling Fall days today and Monday.  Warmer Tuesday & Wednesday.  Scattered showers Thursday ahead of the next cool frontal approach. Otherwise, it will be dry for several days.

TODAY:   We start in the 40’s at dawn.  Total sunshine.  Not as windy as yesterday, but a nice breeze later…north at 10 to 15.  High today 72.  Clear, chilly tonight.  Jacket Weather.  Low 45 by dawn.

By the way…Normal high is 80, Low 55.

Check out the projected lows Monday morning near Dawn.

NEXT FEW DAYS:   Perfect Fall day Monday.  Upper 40’s Monday night. Warmer Tuesday and Wednesday.  Highs near or above 80.    Risk of scattered showers Thursday.  Dry Friday.

Next Cool Front brings a risk of scattered showers Thursday.  The next “Cool Front” will be nothing like the front this weekend.

COOL FACTS: We’re still about a month away from the average date of the last freeze.

TROPICAL UPDATE:  Absolutely NADA, right now.  But, the GFS advertises some potential Gulf drama very late in the month during Halloween week.  I would not be surprised.  Last year on that week we had ZETA.

With this GREAT Fall Weather, it was an outstanding day at the Alabama National Fair. Here’s me sampling a Polish Sausage sandwich. A guilty pleasure. I will be broadcasting from the Fair again today from Noon to 2PM, with Greg Budell! Come by and say hi!

I’ll have a complete video in the morning.  Enjoy your Sunday!

Here’s Chase this morning. Sunrise in the Park, on the first Cold Crisp Fall morning.
