Good Morning! There is a hefty Gulf storm system that will assault Florida today, but it will barely by-pass Alabama. That’s certainly good news for us. Like yesterday, clouds will dominate today. It will be breezy & cool. In fact we’ll be in the 60’s through the weekend, with some chilly jacket/sweatshirt nights. We’re starting an extended string of storm-free days. I’ll tell you about a warm-up next week. And, we’re about a week away from the next major front.
That giant Gulf Storm System will barely bypass Alabama today. It will cause multiple problems for Florida. For us, cloudy, breezy& cool on the back side of the storm.
We’ll stay on the cool, breezy at times, west side of the big storm, as it heads for the Atlantic this weekend.’
Expect a dry weekend with cool days, and Cold nights. Warmer next week…back to the 70’s. Several storm-free days ahead.
The next major front approaches the state by next Thursday night and Friday. Showers and thunderstorms, then sharply cooler.
Don’t forget! This is the time change weekend.
