Saturday UPDATE: Cool Weekend – Warming Trend This Week – Late Week Cold Front

Good Morning!  We have a pretty nice string of days ahead of us.  Today and tonight will be well below normal.  Sunday afternoon will be a little warmer.  It should be a great weekend with lots of sun.

We have a WARMING TREND in our future next week.  We will be in the 70’s every day.  In fact, middle 70’s starting Tuesday.

A significant cold front will bring in showers and thunderstorms by late Thursday, Thursday Night into Friday.

TODAY:   Sunshine will be dominate.  Still cool.   Well below normal.  (Normal 73/46)  High today 63.  Still a little breezy. North wind 10 to 15 mph.  Clear and cold tonight.  Perhaps the coldest night of the s4ason so far.  Low 38 by dawn Sunday.  Sunrise on the NEW time will be 6:07AM.

NEXT FEW DAYS:  Warming trend.  70’s return this week.  Mid 70’s by Tuesday through Thursday.  Sunny and nice much of the week.  Showers and perhaps thunderstorms return by late Thursday and Thursday ahead of the next strong cold front.

NEXT COLD FRONT:  The next strong cold front will sweep across the area Thursday night and early Friday.  Showers and thunderstorms will move in with the front. That will set the stage for much cooler air over the following weekend November 13/14.

Behind the front, look for the coolest air yet.  The GFS Ensembles suggest mid 30’s at night.  (Possible frost?)

FALL BACK:  You are going to be reminded MULTIPLE times on multiple platforms — But, this is the Fall Back Time Change Weekend. Back to CST at 2AM on Sunday morning.

I’ll have another Blog update tomorrow morning.   Have a great football SATURDAY.  Stay warm.
