Warm Today – Cool Front Will Bring Changes – WEDNESDAY Video

Good Morning!  Today will be an usually warm November day.  The high temperature will easily reach the upper 70’s, and could tease 80.  (Normal high 70 – Record High 85 in 1958)  But, get ready for some changes.  A cool front will sweep through the state Thursday. The front will bring at least a risk of a few showers, but the rain chance is relatively low.  Breezy, and sharply cooler weather will follow the front.  Friday will be about 15 degrees cooler than today.  On this video I’ll fill you in on a weekend forecast you’re going to like.  And, we’ll look ahead to two potential Thanksgiving week storm systems.

Remarkably warm November day. Some towns in central and south Alabama could be near 80 this afternoon.

A weakening frontal system drifts through the state tomorrow. Scattered showers, Rain chances are low. breezy and cooler behind the front. Mid 70’s tomorrow. Low 60’s Friday.

Small rain chance Thursday with the front. Breezy and cool Friday. Cool but nice Saturday. Chilly mornings. Warmer Sunday. Chance of showers and maybe some thunderstorms Sunday night into Monday, as thanksgiving week begins.

Still too early to make a call on the Thanksgiving forecast. A late week disturbance will be approaching. It’s a question of timing. Stay tuned. Here’s a snapshot of two models on Thanksgiving afternoon.

Lots of ups and downs in the next 10 days. Here’s the Model Blend, through Iron Bowl Saturday.
