A severe thunderstorm watch has been expanded eastward and now includes much of central Alabama, as far east as Chilton, Elmore, Auataua, Montgomery, Lowndes and Crenshaw counties. Damaging wind gusts to 70 mph, half inch hail and a couple of tornadoes are possible in the watch area until 2AM. Stay weather aware!
