Good Morning! It’s a rather chilly start this morning, but we’re in for a incredibly nice, comfortable Wednesday. We’ll be in the upper 70’s before this day is over. Tomorrow through Saturday will be warmer. We actually need some rain, but the next small rain chance will probably hold off until about Sunday. On this video, I’ll update you on the day to day details through the weekend. Plus, we’ll look back to that Horrific Wednesday 11 years ago today.
Chilly start this morning. Jackets needed. But, look for a really afternoon recovery. We’ll tease 80 degrees later.
Looks like we’re probably dry through daytime Saturday. I’ll put in a slight chance of showers Saturday night and scattered showers and thunderstorms for Sunday and Monday.
Big warming trend Thursday through Saturday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms for Sunday and Monday.
WE WILL NEVER FORGET THIS DAY IN WEATHER HISTORY. APRIL 27, 2011…NOT ONLY THE BIGGEST SUPER OUTBREAK OF TORNADOES IN US HISTORY, BUT UNFORTUNATELY ALABAMA WAS AT THE EPICENTER…WITH 62 TORNADOES AND 252 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES … TOTAL TORNADOES IN THIS OUTBREAK 360. THERE WERE 19 EF-3’s 11 EF-4’s and 4 EF-5’s on that horrific Wednesday 11 years ago
The following Day…this was Myers Trailer Park in Eclectic.
The look on my face said it all.
