TUESDAY Update:  More Dry Days Ahead – Warming Trend

Good Morning!    Here’s my brief video forecast discussion introduction.

An upper Ridge of high pressure is in control.  This promotes a warming trend and keeps us dry.

TODAY:  Sunshine.  Nice day.  Warmer.  Tolerable humidity.  Hi 87.  East wind 5 to 10 mph.  Mainly clear tonight.  Pleasantly cool.  Low 60.

NEXT FEW DAYS:  Storm-free & dry through Friday, at least.  Warmer days,  Near 90 by Thursday,  Mid 80’s Friday.  Still tolerable humidity.  At or near 90 this weekend.  Small chance of showers.  Time to get out the garden hose.

Check out the projected rainfall through Sunday.  A few hundreds of an inch, perhaps.  Not much.  Not good.

Here’s the Drought monitor map.  We are not indicated in any Drought category yet, but my gosh, look at the parched west.

Thanks for reading this Blog this morning.

This morning we are LIVE on the radio from 6 to 9 on NewsTalk 93.1.  Watch us on TV on CBS 8 and ABC 32.  I’ll have another update for you in the morning.  Stay weather aware today.
