WEDNESDAY Update:  Stormy at Times through Thursday – Nice Air Arrives Friday

Good Morning!  Here’s my brief video forecast discussion.

TODAY:  Warm & humid.  High 85.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms just about anytime, but most numerous in the afternoon & evening hours and tonight.  Low tonight 68.

Future Radar snapshot at 2:30PM, to give you just a general idea on potential storm coverage.

It’s a juicy airmass.  A few storms could reach severe limits.  Marginal Severe Risk.  Damaging wind gusts are the main risk.

THURSDAY:  As the front moves through the state…there will be strong to Severe storms.  Marginal Severe Risk.  Damaging wind gusts are the main risk.   The action could start early.

Here’s a future radar snapshot at 8AM.

NEXT FEW DAYS:   Rain and storms become much more numerous Thursday, as a front approaches.  A few strong/severe storms are possible. Marginal Severe Risk.  Damaging wind & hail possible.  But, stand by..  Timing is everything. Behind the front, we’ll see some big improvements, starting Friday, just in time for what looks like a sensational  Memorial Day Weekend.

Get ready for some really nice weather starting Friday!   Looks like a great weekend of weather for the memorial day weekend.

BEACH FORECAST:   If you’re headed south to the Beach on this Memorial Day Holiday Weekend..the news continues to be very good.  Actually remarkable.  Enjoy.  Watch for the Yellow Flags on the Beach.   Moderate Rip Current Risk.

NOAA HURRICANE SEASON FORECAST:   On Tuesday, NOAA officially issued it’s seasonal; Hurricane Outlook for 2022.   Like the Colorado State University forecast, which came out a few weeks ago, the NOAA forecast is disturbing.  It calls for  a much above normal hurricane season in 2022.  Hang on.  The season, officially,  begins soon.  Wednesday, June 1st.  Here’s the numbers.
