THURSDAY Update:  Another Day of Random Storms – Holiday Weekend Forecast Updated

Good Morning!  Here’s my brief video forecast discussion.

TODAY:     Very Humid again.  High near 90.  Scattered Random showers  & thunderstorms today, most numerous in the afternoon & evening hours.  Very little change from the last few days.   Low tonight 72

Here’s a Future Radar examples this evening…just to show you potential coverage.  Models are suggesting the most active radar display will be this evening.

NEXT FEW DAYS:   Very little day to day change trough Sunday.  Highs mostly 89-92.  Better than normal rain chance.     Scattered Random showers  & thunderstorms, most numerous in the afternoon & evening hours.  Low 70’s at night.  By 4th of July Monday…the number of storms will thin out a bit.  Storms will become widely scattered by Monday & Tuesday.

Upper Ridge of high pressure re-builds by the start of next week.  Storms will be less numerous.

TROPICAL UPDATE:     Besides Potential Tropical Cyclone Two, there are two Area’s to Watch.  Invest 95-L is close to the Texas coast with drenching rain.  The models are not very favorable for the Area to Watch in the tropical Atlantic.  NHC now gives it a 10% chance of development.

PCT 2 is close to Aruba this morning, racing westward.  It has a much better chance of becoming Bonnie in the west Caribbean In fact a Hurricane Watch has been issued for portions of the Central American coast.  It should survive the journey across Central America and become Darby in the Pacific.

BEACH OUTLOOK:  Showers & storms will be scattered to numerous through Sunday.  Storms will start to thin out a bit on the 4th of July.  Gulf water temperature is 86.  Moderate Rip Current Risk especially from Destin east to Panama City.
