FRIDAY Update:  Not As Hot Today – Fewer Storms This Weekend 

Good Morning!  Here’s my brief video forecast discussion.     

Thursday’s high in Montgomery was 98 with a heat index of 110.  Rainfall:  1.66”.     

TODAY:   Not nearly as hot today.   Today’s High near 92.  Scattered to numerous random showers & thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon & evening. Low tonight 74.   

Future Radar shows another day of better than normal storms coverage.

NEXT FEW DAYS:   Saturday and Sunday the number of storms will thin out quite a bit.  Not as many storms on the radar.  More widely scattered.   High in the mid 90’s.   Low at night mid 70’s.   Not much day to day change through Wednesday. 

BEACH FORECAST:   Rain chances will be highest today.  But, the rest of the  the weekend looks routine.  Scattered hit or miss storms.  Moderate Rip Current risk.  Gulf water temperature 86. 

TROPICAL OUTLOOK :    The tropics continue quiet for now.  The Euro model hints that we should monitor the Tropical Atlantic over the next 10 days.
