FRIDAY Update:  Big Warming Trend Ahead – Perfect Weekend Forecast

Good Morning!  Get ready for a nice change.  The cold is retreating.  Warmer days are ahead.  The warm-up starts today.  Here’s my brief forecast discussion.

CLIMATE DATA:    Yesterday’s high was 66 and that record shattering 29 Thursday morning.  (Old record 32 in 1989)  Normal Hi/Lo 79/53.  Sunrise 6:55, sunset 6:01.

TODAY:     The news is good today.    Sunshine, warmer.  High today 74. Light wind.    Not quite as chilly again tonight.  Low 44

Beautiful Day arounds the Southeast U.S. Today.  Cold air still in place this morning,  but the warmth in the middle of the nation is spreading eastward.

NEXT FEW DAYS:    Get ready for a very nice weekend.  Sunshine and warmer.  We’re back to the upper 70’s Saturday.  Perhaps near 80 by Sunday and lower 80’s by Monday.    Lots of sunshine.  Very comfortable. Small risk of showers return to the forecast Tuesday/Wednesday, as a front approaches.

Approaching front brings a risk of showers by Tuesday.

The Air behind this front is cooler, but not cold this time.

Good news.   Here’s the model temperature blend for the next 10 days.  No cold air nonsense.  INDIAN SUMMER. (A period of warm weather after the first freeze)
