SATURDAY Update:  Beautiful Weekend – Warming Trend Continues

Good Morning!  Our nice warming trend continues today.  It should be a nearly perfect weekend.   Here’s my brief forecast discussion.

TODAY:     The news is very good again today.    Sunshine, warmer.  High today 77. Light wind.    Not quite as chilly again tonight.  Low 46.

Beautiful Day arounds the Southeast U.S. Today.  Great football weather.

NEXT FEW DAYS:    Our remarkable warming trend continues through the weekend and beyond.  Sunshine will dominate through Monday.  We’ll be near 80 by Sunday and lower 80’s by Monday and Tuesday.    Scattered showers return to the forecast Tuesday, as a cool front approaches.  The air behind the next front is not much cooler.

Approaching front brings a risk of showers by Tuesday, especially Tuesday evening.  No severe weather is expected.

The Air behind this front is cooler, but not cold this time.

NOAA WINTER OUTLOOK (if you care):   I’m not a fan of seasonal weather outlooks, because they are as roughly accurate as flipping a coin.   Nevertheless, NOAA came out with their annual winter forecast this week.  It calls for warmer than normal and drier than normal weather across the South, December through February.  (FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH…)

Thanks for reading this Blog this morning! I’ll have another update for you in the morning.  Have a nice day!
