TUESDAY Update:  Welcome to November – Warmer Days Ahead

Good Morning!  Welcome to November!   The Weather news for the next several days is very good.    Here’s my brief forecast discussion.

TODAY:    DENSE FOR ADVISORY for many of again this morning.  Otherwise not a bad start to the new month of November.

Foggy this morning, mostly sunny later.  Warmer.  High 77.  North wind at 5 to 10 mph.

Just a beautiful first day of November around the southeast U.S.

NEXT FEW DAYS:  Nice warming trend this week. Sunny and nice through Friday, as the month of November begins.  Highs in the upper 70’s Wednesday & Thursday.   We’ll be near 80 on Friday.  Still dry.  Storm-free through Sunday.

A ridge of high pressure in the upper atmosphere will set to stage for some much warmer storm-free days this week.

NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN?:    Over the weekend a frontal system brings rain to Mississippi on Saturday, but so far the GFS and EURO models show this system fizzling before it gets to Alabama.  Our rain prospects for the next few days are not good.

Get out the Garden hose. Rain prospects are not good.

TROPICAL WEATHER: Tropical Storms headed toward Central America and it will not be a concern in this part of the world.  LISA should become a hurricane before landfall in Belize on Wednesday.

Other than Lisa, the only other feature is that area in the central Atlantic.

Thanks for reading this Blog this morning! This morning we are LIVE on the radio from 6 to 9 on NewsTalk 93.1.  Watch us on TV on CBS 8 and ABC 32.  I’ll have another update for you in the morning.  Have a nice day!
