MONDAY Update:  Cold Starts to Ease – Milder Week Ahead – Thanksgiving Showers

Good Morning!   Finally the news is getting better, as the cold air starts to ease and retreat.  Sunday’s high was a dismal 51.  Today we’ll be closer to 60.  The normal high is 68.  Milder temperatures are on the menu on this Thanksgiving week.  By Wednesday and Thursday, we’ll be in the upper 60’s.  Here’s my brief forecast discussion.

TODAY:  Chilly day today.  Sun/cloud mix.  High 53.  North wind 10 to 15 mph.  Clear, and cold again tonight.  We’re headed for another freeze.  Low 31.

NEXT FEW DAYS:    Spotty showers are possible Tuesday. Tiny rain chance.  NICE day Wednesday.  Upper 60’s Wednesday and Thursday.  That’s close to normal.   More scattered showers and maybe some thunderstorms are in the Thanksgiving forecast.  The models are un clear on timing, so we’ll hang onto a small rain chance Friday.  It’ll be cooler Friday and Saturday.

Only isolated showers are expected Tuesday.

This week will feel much nicer as the cold retreats and temperatures moderate.  The cold is retreating.

The big travel day Wednesday looks nice.  I don’t see any mega-storms that will bog down travel.

Scattered showers and Thunderstorms are possible Thanksgiving, especially Thursday night.

Here’s that big pre-Thanksgiving feast I did at my house yesterday.
