THURSDAY Update:   Chilly Days – Cold Nights

Good Morning!  If you like chilly weather you’re in for a treat.  Temperatures will average much below normal for the next 4 days.  (Normal 60/37)  Expect a series of chilly days and cold nights.  Today will be breezy and cold.  We’re headed for the 20’s tonight and tomorrow night.  Saturday will be slightly warmer. The next chance of rain arrives on Sunday. Another storm system arrives the middle of next week.  Here’s my brief forecast discussion.

TODAY:    Brisk and chilly.  Partial sunshine.  High near 50.  (Normal 60/37).   Gusty west wind at 10 to 20 will make it seem colder.  Clear and quite cold tonight.  Low 27.

NEXT FEW DAYS:  Expect a series of very chilly days and COLD sub-freezing nights. Thursday’s high will barely reach 51.  Brisk.  Low 29 by Friday Dawn.  Chilly Friday.  Sunshine.  High 52.  Another freeze Friday night. Upper 20’s.   A little warmer Saturday.  High 59.   The next rain arrives by Sunday.

Good chanced of rain by Sunday afternoon and Sunday night.

Here’s the 10 day Temperature trend.  Nice warm-up middle of next week, before more colder air arrives.

Big battle in the atmosphere next week. Bitter cold air will invade much of the headland, while the ridge in the Southeast tries to hold steady. Watching closely.
