Good Morning! This day will start dry. But, expect widespread rain, and maybe some thunderstorms, by this afternoon and tonight. Locally heavy rainfall. This week looks rather active. A series of disturbances will move across the Gulf South. Wet at times. Thursday has the highest rain chance and the best chance for widespread rain and storms. Will there be a severe weather threat? SPC says maybe. They are not ready to commit yet.
TODAY: Dry this morning. Expect widespread rain, and maybe some thunderstorms, this afternoon and tonight. There will be locally heavy rainfall amounts. Mild today. High 65. Low tonight 57.
No severe weather is expected here in central Alabama. However, there is a Marginal Risk down closer to the coast toady.
NEXT FEW DAYS: A series of disturbances will move across the Gulf South, this week. Scattered showers and thunderstorms Monday. Small chance of rain Tuesday & Wednesday. Best chance of rain will be Thursday. Rain and thunderstorms. Locally heavy rainfall. Cooler Friday
