SATURDAY Update:  Great Weekend Forecast – Big Warm-up Soon

Good Morning!  I don’t have any bad news, as we look at the next seven days.  Remember how awful last Saturday was?  Today will be very nice.  Below normal temperatures, but not as cool as Friday.  And, if you are a fan of warmer temperatures, wait until you see the numbers for the week ahead.  Amazing warmth is on the way.  A spring preview.  I don’t see any “big ticket” weather in the next several days.  We need a break, and it looks like we have no worries anytime soon.  Enjoy the weekend!

TODAY:   Sub-freezing start in the upper 20’s.  Sunshine.  Nice day.  Below normal, but not as cool as Friday.  High today near 60.  (Normal 65/41)  Not as breezy.  North wind 10 to 15.  Partly cloudy, very chilly tonight, but not as cold,  Low in the mid 30’s.

High pressure is in control today.

SUNDAY:  Great day.  Mostly sunny.  High 68.

NEXT FEW DAYS: Temperature recovery begins Sunday with highs in the upper 60’s.  On President’s Day Monday, expect middle 70’s.  Perhaps near 80 Tuesday.  Maybe mid 80’s by Wednesday & Thursday.  SMALL rain chance Tuesday through Thursday.  But, it looks like all the major storm systems will pass much farther to the north for the week ahead.

If you’re a fan on warmer weather, stand by.  HUGE warm-up ahead next week.

Look at the 10 day Temperature Model Blend.  80’s possible by Mid-week.

As far as rainfall….. Not much rain across the southern half of Alabama in the next 7 day.

Thanks for reading this Blog this morning! I’ll have another update for you in the morning.  Have a nice weekend!
