Good morning! Today the risk of showers will be much lower than the last few days, but not zero. Temperatures will be comfortable, with highs in the lower 80’s. Another round of storms arrives by Saturday afternoon & Saturday night ahead of an approaching front. Some of the storms could be quite strong. There is a Marginal Severe Weather Risk on Saturday for much of the state. Sunday is another day when the rain chance will be small but not zero. Look for highs in the middle 80’s this weekend. There will be another round of showers on Monday.
TODAY: Fairly comfortable, again. Today the risk of showers will be much lower than the last few days, but not zero. High 82. Tonight should be mostly dry. Mostly cloudy. Low tonight 67.
Future Radar shows the best chance of showers or thundershowers will be across the southwest third of the state today.
SATURDAY: The day will start dry, but the risk for showers & storms will increase by afternoon and Saturday night as a front approaches. High in the mid 80’s.
Future radar shows a band of stronger (possibly severe storms) by late afternoon and evening ahead of the front.
SPC has a Marginal Severe Risk covering much of the state Saturday. Damaging wind gusts will be the main threat.

NEXT FEW DAYS: We will get a little break between disturbances on Friday. Friday looks like a comfortable, dry day with partial sunshine. Another round of scattered showers and storms return Saturday afternoon. Sunday is shaping up to be a pretty nice day. Scattered random storms return Monday. Temperatures will be in the 80’s each day.
BEACH FORECAST: Widely scattered showers today. Saturday looks dry and mostly sunny. More scattered showers possible Sunday. Highs in the lower 80’s Gulf water temperature 81°. Moderate Rip Current Risk.
