SATURDAY Update:   Warm & Mostly Dry – Comfortable Days and Cool Nights

Good morning!   All in all, we have a phenomenal Memorial Day weekend forecast.  Other parts of the Southeast US are not as lucky as we are.  Today will be another remarkable day.  The days are mostly sunny, warm and dry with comfortable humidity.  Nights are cool.  Tonight, temperatures will fall to the mid 50’s.  On Sunday, while the rain chance is not zero, it is very small.  There could be an isolated shower.  Memorial day Monday will simply be ideal.  Sunshine.  Warm.  Dry.  Comfortable.  Upper 80’s return on Tuesday and Wednesday.

TODAY:  Mostly sunny & nice.   High 81.  Northeast wind 8 to 15 with gusts to 20 mph.  Mostly clear and quite cool tonight.  Low 55.

NEXT FEW DAYS:    On Sunday, while the rain chance is not zero, it is very small.  There could be an isolated shower.  Memorial day Monday will simply be ideal.  Sunshine.  Warm.  Dry.  Comfortable.  Upper 80’s return on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Risk of scattered showers and thunderstorms Thursday.

Excellent weekend for us. Simply awful in the costal Carolinas.

BEACH FORECAST:  It looks like an ideal Memorial Day Weekend forecast.  Sunshine will be abundant.  Highs in the lower 80’s.  Low at night in the 60’s.  Comfortable humidity.  An epic holiday weekend forecast.  Moderate Rip Current Risk.  Yellow flags.

AREA TO WATCH:   NHC, there is an Area to Watch off the Southeast coast.  A developing strong coastal low will move northward toward the Carolinas over the weekend.  Probably it will not have any tropical characteristics.  But, NHC has given it a 10% chance.  Regardless, this coastal low will ruin many vacations for thousands of families along the Georgia and especially Carolina coasts.

Thanks for reading this Blog this morning! I’ll have another update for you in the morning.  Have a nice day!
