WEEKEND Update: Nice Weekend Air – Heating Up – Mostly Dry – Mid Week Front – Nice Late Week

Good Morning!  We’re on cruise control.  We’re enjoying a very nice weekend pattern, with relatively tolerable humidity and comfortable nights.  Rain chances are not quite zero but 20% or less through Tuesday .  Days are sunny and nice. Nights are mostly clear and comfortable.  Widely scattered storms will creep into the forecast around Wednesday and Thursday, as a frontal system approaches.  Behind the front, late week looks very nice with highs in the 80’s.

TODAY (Sunday):    Mostly sunny.  I’ll but the rain chance at about 15%.  Not too humid.  High near 93. Light wind.   Partly cloudy tonight.  Low near 70.

NEXT FEW DAYS:    Routine, trouble-free forecast.  Sunshine will dominate through Tuesday.  Rain chance not zero, but perhaps 15% Today, Monday and Tuesday. Highs mostly low 90’s.  Upper 60’s at nice will feel nice.  Widely scattered storms Tuesday night into Wednesday as a front approaches. NICE AIR late week with highs in the 80’s.

Mid-week frontal system will bring in a small rain chance by Tuesday night into Wednesday, with cooler air by late week.  Only mid 80’s Thursday and Friday.

Wow.  Look at the 10 day Temperature Trend.  Some really, really nice air starting late next week.

TROPICAL UPDATE:   There are currently two features in the east Atlantic.  Large Hurricane Lee and Tropical Storm Margot, and two Areas to watch.

Hurricane Lee is a Category 2 Hurricane with 105 mph winds. It is slowing down dramatically.  Look at the expected movement through Thursday.  It is about to take the expected right hand turn to the north in the Atlantic.

The direct danger for the eastern U.S. Coastline late next week has decreased.  The Atlantic Canada and Bermuda is still in trouble.

Thanks for reading this Blog this morning!  Good morning from Kansas City.  I’m at the National Weather Association Annual conference. Conference business begins this morning. Yesterday was a day of Exploration. I had a chance to sample the BEST BBQ in town at the famous Joe’s located in what is still a working gas station!

I took a trolley ride down Main street. Visited famous Union Station and the Historic City Market on the River.

We’re at a really nice 4-star Hotel. The Marriott Downtown Kansas City.

My next scheduled update will be Monday morning.  But, I will post randomly on X (Twitter) at times.   Have a nice weekend!
