THANKSGIVING Update:  Cool/Dry Thanksgiving – Nice Iron Bowl Saturday

Good Morning!  Happy Thanksgiving!   It’s a very chilly morning.  Pre-dawn temperatures have fallen into the upper 40’s.  Today’s expected high of 58 is about 10 degrees below normal.  Sunshine will be limited.  Clouds increase later.  Widely scattered showers are possible overnight tonight.  But, the news gets better.  Black Friday will start cloudy, but should become mostly sunny.  So far, Iron Bowl Saturday looks nice.  It’ll be mostly sunny.  Highs in the mid 60’s.  Scattered showers return to the forecast Sunday afternoon.

TODAY:  Limited sunshine.  Clouds increasing later.  Cool but dry.  High 58.  North wind at 5 to 10 mph.  Widely scattered showers are possible late tonight after Midnight.  Low 46.

Looks like a good Travel Day on this Thanksgiving.

NEXT FEW DAYS:  Black Friday will start cloudy, but should become mostly sunny.  So far, Iron Bowl Saturday looks nice.  It’ll be mostly sunny.  Highs in the mid 60’s.  Scattered showers return to the forecast Sunday afternoon.  Much cooler air flows in on Monday and Tuesday.

Just about an ideal day for Football in Auburn Saturday. It’s hard to improve on this Iron Bowl forecast with Mostly Sunny skies and a 63 degree kick-off temperature at 2:30PM.

Another Gulf Coast Low will bring scattered showers back the forecast Sunday afternoon and night.  Much cooler air will follow.

The 10 day Temperature Blend suggests we could be near the freeze mark on Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

Thanks for reading this Blog this morning!  I’ll have another update for you in the morning.  Have a nice Holiday!
