A significant storm system will move through this weekend. Showers and thunderstorms will move in during the afternoon. Some storms could be strong to severe. Marginal Severe Risk. The biggest risk would be Saturday night. Damaging wind gusts is the main threat. Brief tornadoes can’t be ruled out. Main severe weather window begins 4PM in the far west. On Sunday after 6:00 AM, the Marginal Severe risk shifts into SE Alabama, south and east of a Montgomery, Greenville line.
