Good morning! Early morning radar shows scattered showers across central & south Alabama. These are the leftover showers from a Friday storm system which under performed. Rainfall amounts in most towns was very light. The most concentrated rainfall was across the eastern counties. After the risk of showers fades away later this morning, the rest of the weekend will be dry. Sunday looks nice. Lots of sunshine. Highs in the lower 70’s. Monday looks dry. Looks like the next potentially significant storm system will bring another round of showers & storms late Monday night through Tuesday. There could be a few stronger storms with this storm system. Temperatures for the next few days will be comfortable.

Early this morning, Low pressure is located between Montgomery and Clanton. Scattered showers are rotating cyclonically around the low.

NEXT FEW DAYS: Most of the weekend looks dry and nice. Sunday looks nice, Sunshine and highs in the lower 70’s. Looks like the next “bigger deal” will bring another round of showers & storms returning Monday night into Tuesday. A small severe threat is not out of the question.
