THURSDAY UPDATE: Great String of Days Ahead – Nearly Perfect Easter Weekend

Good morning!  The weather news for the next few days continues to look very nice.  It will be storm-free/Dry for several days through at least through Monday.  The Easter weekend looks picture postcard perfect. By Easter Sunday, highs will be in the lower 80’s, and mid 80’s Monday.  The next chance of showers returns Tuesday.   Here’s my brief forecast discussion.

TODAY:  Mostly sunny.  High near 70.  Wind:  North wind at 6 to 12 mph. Partly cloudy, chilly tonight.  Low 41.

NEXT FEW DAYS:  It’s a beautiful forecast for several days.  It will be storm-free/Dry for several days through at least through Monday.  The Easter weekend looks perfect. By Easter Sunday, highs will be in the lower 80’s, and mid 80’s Monday.  The next chance of showers returns Tuesday.     

Not a drop of rain is expected through Monday.  Scattered showers return to the forecast Tuesday.

BEACH FORECAST:  Timing is everything.  Finally a beautiful Beach Weekend Forecast asw March ends and April begins. 

EASTER FACTS (Montgomery):  Easter is obviously a floating holiday, as early as March 21 and as late as April 25th.  Since records began in 1872, the warmest Easter Sunday was 89 in 1910.  Coldest 32 in 1937.   Wettest :  3.65” in 2005. 

POLLEN:   Here’s a look at the next 4 days.  Tough days for pollen sufferers. 

ECLIPSE: It’s early. We’re 11 days till the Total Solar Eclipse, but the GFS model is razing red flags on the viewing weather especially in TX and the nation’s mid section. So far, so good here in AL. 86% coverage in MGM peaking at 1:59PM. #alwx
