FRIDAY UPDATE:  Hotter Days – Spotty Random Storms

Good morning from Orange Beach!  The first weekend of May will feel a lot more like the first weekend of June. Yesterday the airport got to 90. (91 in East Montgomery. We’ll be in the same neighborhood today.   Widely scattered, random, showers and storms will return to the forecast today and over the weekend. It will continue very warm. It feels very much like a typical summer weekend.  Highs over the weekend will continue in the upper 80’s, with 60’s at night.  Looks like a great weekend Beach forecast.  Daily highs near 80. 

TODAY:  Lots of sunshine. Very Warm. Summer-like. High 90-92. The record is 94. Only a 20%. Widely scattered random storms.  Mostly clear, comfortable tonight.  Low 65.

Future radar shows some spotty showers and storms today, and a slightly better chance tomorrow, but the most numerous showers will be in the northern part of the state.  

NEXT FEW DAYS:   It’s a very warm weekend forecast.  Widely scattered, random, showers and storms will return to the forecast tomorrow and over the weekend. It will continue very warm. Near 90 Friday.  Upper 80’s Saturday and Sunday.  Nights w2ill be in the 60’s.  On Monday, we’ll flirt with 90 again.

Here’s rainfall through the weekend.  Rainfall mounts will be rather sparce in south Alabama. 

BEACH OUTLOOK:  Very nice.  Lots of sun.  Comfortable. Dry.  Highs near 80.  Gulf water temperature is 77.  Moderate Rip Current Risk today and HIGH Saturday and Sunday.
