Random showers/storms will be few and far between today and Wednesday. Best chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms this week will be on Thursday into early Friday. Some of the storms will be strong possibly severe. Much cooler air will follow. Saturday’s high will be in the 70’s. Here’s my brief forecast Discussion.
TODAY: Sun/cloud mix. Very Warm.. Highs in the upper 80’s to near 90. Widely Scattered random “hit or miss” storms. Partly Cloudy very mild tonight. Low 68.
Future Radar. Any random showers will be few and far between.
Strong to severe storms are most likely in the northern and western counties today. Tomorrow the severe weather risk will be across north Alabama, and particularly Wednesday night.
Close to Record Territory. Especially Wednesday.

All of the state is in a Severe Risk on Thursday as a strong cold front approaches. The greatest severe weather threat will be across south Alabama. Severe Weather Threat.
