Good Morning! The big weather story for the foreseeable future will be HEAT. Over the weekend that will change. The Heat Index which has been in the 90’s will exceed 100 today. In, fact, it will continue to get hotter, Actual highs will reach the upper 90’s to near 100. By Sunday and Monday the Heat Index will be near or above the 105 Danger Level. That’s Heat Advisory criteria, so that’s certainly a good possibility. The Heat continues Dangerous for much of next week. Although rain chances are close to zero today, expect random, pop up, “hit or miss” storms to return Sunday and next week. Next week’s best rain probabilities will return Wednesday through Friday as a frontal system approaches.
TODAY: Mostly Sunny. Hotter. High near 99. Heat advisory 100+. Rain chance just about zero. As close as we get this time of the year. Any storms will be closer to the coast. Low tonight 75.
Radar should stay quiet for the third day today for most of us. Spotty storms on the coast.
