Good morning! Our big warm-up continues. The warmth actually dominates much of America. Shorts and tee-shirts are returning. The nights and mornings are not as chilly, and the afternoon’s continue to get warmer. Yesterday’s high was 82 degrees at MGM. We’ll be in the mid 80’s today and Wednesday and mid to upper 80’s by Thursday. Meanwhile, our storm-free, dry pattern will continue for several more days. A weekend cool front will move through the state, but it looks like a dry front. It’ll knock the temperatures down just a bit by Sunday. Overall the rain prospects are not good for the next week if not longer. Here’s my brief forecast discussion.
TODAY: Sunshine. Comfortable humidity. High 84. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Clear tonight, but not quite as cool. Low 55.

The 10 Day Model Blend Temperature Trend. It’s a very comfortable forecast. A weekend cool front will move through the state, but it looks like a dry front. It’ll knock the temperatures down just a bit by Sunday. But as you can see, we’ll bounce back next week.
The EURO tries to bring in a front with some rain on Halloween. We’ll see. We need the rain.

TROPICAL UPDATE: Tropical Storm Oscar is the only player, as it pulls away from the Bahamas and weakens in the Atlantic. It goes down in the record book as the smallest Hurricane in history. At one point it only had a 5 mile (or less) eye. The death toll in Cuba is six. #oscar
Right now, Tropical Storm Oscar in the Atlantic is only player right now. But, look at this. Here’s the Ensemble Member lows at the start of early November from three key global models suggesting Tropical Mischief. Interesting. Stay tuned.
