Good morning! There are no big changes in our weather pattern this weekend. A frontal system stretched across the state will be the focus of spotty showers today, tonight, Sunday and Veterans Day – Monday. The highest probability will be on Sunday night. Unfortunately, total rainfall amounts will be scant. Temperatures will remain above normal. Expect lower 80’s again today. Then, mostly upper 70’s Sunday through the middle of next week. Expect 60’s at night. A cold front will move through the state Thursday, Much cooler air will follow for late next week. Rainfall prospects remain disappointing.
TODAY: Mostly cloudy, with a few sun breaks. Still Warm for November. High near 82. Normal 72/45. Widely scattered showers and today and tonight. But, they will be quite isolated in nature. East wind 10-15 gusting to 20 mph. Low tonight near 68.
Future Radar suggest a few widely scattered, mostly isolated showers along a frontal system draped across the state.

NEXT FEW DAYS: Not much change. There will be at least a risk for widely scattered showers in the forecast Thursday Veterans Day, Monday. But, the daily rain chance will be very low. The highest probability will be Sunday night. Temperatures will remain above normal. Expect mostly upper 70’s Sunday through the middle of next week expect 60’s at night. Much cooler air arrives late week.
The 10 Day Model Blend Temperature Trend. A cold front will move through the state on Thursday. There could be a few showers/storms ahead of the front late Wednesday and Wednesday Night. Much cooler air will follow. Lows late next week will fall to the 40’s. That’s actually closer to the normal of 72/45.
This map of potential rainfall next 7 days is very disappointing for us. Not much. The Drought continues to expand and grow worse.

TROPICAL UPDATE: Winds in Tropical Storm Rafael, in the Gulf, have decreased to 60 mph. It is expected to make a loop and head south toward the Bay of Campeche as it weakens.
Elsewhere, there is an Area to Watch being monitored by NHC, approaching the SE Bahamas, now with a low 10% chance of development.
