Good morning! It’s another very COLD morning. Many towns will end up in the low to mid 20’s at Dawn. This is the 5th sub-freezing morning in this current arctic pattern. Changes are on the way. Today will be little milder. We should be dry through the evening. A frontal system is approaching. Periods of rain showers return to the forecast late tonight , ending tomorrow morning. Rainfall amounts will generally be under .20”. Another shot of arctic air is in our future. It will turn windy and colder again Thursday PM and Friday. The Wind chill could reach the upper teens by Friday morning. Most of the weekend should be dry. The next big rain event will hold off until Sunday night and Monday. TODAY: Not quite as cold. Yesterday’s high was only 50. Today we’re headed to the upper 50’s. Normal: 65/40. Expect a Sun and cloud mix. Northwest wind at 5 to 10 mph. Dry through the evening. Periods of rain become likely in the overnight hours after Midnight.

NEXT FEW DAYS: Small risk of showers early tomorrow. It will turn windy and colder again late tomorrow and Friday. We’re back to the 20’s again Thursday night. Wind chill by Friday morning could reach the upper teens. Most of the weekend should be dry and rather cool. The next big rain event will hold off until Sunday night and Monday.
FRIDAY AM WIND CHILL: Friday morning will be another morning in the 20’s. Bu, We expect to be Wind Chill values reach their coldest point Friday morning, especially across f Central Alabama, Low teens are likely across the northern counties. Upper teens as farsouth as Selma and Auburn and near 20 south to Troy. Coldest wind chills of the season so far.

Here’s the expected rainfall for the next 7 days. A significant rainfall event is expected Sunday night/Monday.
Friday will be quite cold again with a significant shot of arctic air on the way again. FORTUNATELY, temperatures will be much more reasonable next week.
