We have a “big deal” storm system on the not too distant horizon. Today will be milder with highs in the mid 60’s. Isolated showers are possible. But, the shower risk increases in the overnight hours tonight. Periods of rain and maybe some thunderstorms are in the cards Monday and Tuesday. Locally heavy rainfall amounts are possible.
SPC has added a Level 1 Marginal Severe Threat on Tuesday, mainly east of I-65 and along and south of I-85. Expect another big temperature plunge behind the storm system Wednesday.
