Good morning! After two days of record tying highs, changes are underway. The cooling trend is now underway. Today will be about 16 degrees cooler than yesterday. Friday will be cooler and the First Weekend of Winter will be even colder. By Saturday, highs will struggle to reach the lower 50’s. Overnight lows will be sub-freezing for at least 3 nights starting Friday night. The Winter solstice is Saturday morning at 3:20 AM. The next rain chance could arrive by Christmas Eve/Christmas Day. Christmas is likely to be very mild with highs in the 60’s. Here’s my brief video forecast discussion

NEXT FEW DAYS: There will be a re-enforcing Cold Front which will deliver a second stage of COLDER air, starting Friday night and through the first official weekend of Winter. CHRISTMAS FORECAST: An approaching storm system will bring an increasing chance of showers and thunderstorms Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. A stronger storm system could arrive by Friday night the 27th into Saturday the 28th.
So, for Christmas Day: Scattered showers and possible thunderstorms. AM low 46. PM high near 65. Low Christmas night 48.
