Good morning! It’s only February, when our normal high is 63. Thursday we made it to 80 in Montgomery, and yesterday we reached a Record High of 81. Today there’s a good chance we’re headed for another record of 81. This extended Winter Thaw continues at least through the weekend. Changes are on the way. Next week looks quite active with a series of disturbances. Could be quite wet and potentially stormy at times. More widely scattered showers are possible Sunday Monday. Showers and storms will become likely by Tuesday and Tuesday night.
CLIMATE: Yesterday the low at MGM was 66. High (Ties Record) 81. (previous: 81 in 1957 and 2019) No rain.

TODAY: It will be much like Thursday and Friday. Considerable cloudiness through mid-day. Then, gradually sunshine this afternoon. Continued warm. High 81. (Record 81in 1994 and 2023) Risk of a few isolated showers this afternoon and this evening. Partly cloudy, mild tonight. Low 63.
