Good morning! A major warming trend is underway. What a big departure from last week’s extreme Arctic Cold. We’ll be in the low 70’s today and the mid 70’s on Wednesday. The next chance of showers returns Thursday as a Cool front approaches. Nice weather returns Friday and Saturday. It will be a little cooler Friday. The first weekend in March looks very nice, indeed. Here’s my brief video forecast discussion.
CLIMATE: Yesterday was as close to “normal” as you can get. The morning low at MGM was 44. Afternoon High 67. (Normal 67/43. Rainfall: .04
TODAY: Patchy fog early. Sunshine today. Warmer. High 73. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Mostly clear tonight. Low 44.

NEXT FEW DAYS: It’s a dry forecast through mid-week. A big warm up is underway. We’ll be into the middle 70’s by Wednesday. Scattered showers returns Thursday as a front approaches. Nice and comfortable weather returns Friday and Saturday. It little cooler, but not much. Expect a nice first weekend of March.

Next chance of rain will be on Thursday. No severe weather is expected.

DISTANT HORIZON: This week is rather quiet. But, looking ahead, things will get a lot more active starting next week. This IS Severe Weather Season. We’ll start to see storm systems every 3 or 4 days.
