Good Morning! What a treat! These last few days of February are very springlike, and storm-free. Today will be nearly perfect. Sunshine with a high in the upper 70’s. Tomorrow a weak cool front will approach. But, the front will fizzle as it enters Alabama. The rain chance is quite small. It will be a few degrees cooler behind the front, but the first weekend of March looks very nice. Enjoy this nice series of days. Looks like we’ll start to ease into a stormy pattern next week. Here’s my brief video forecast discussion.
CLIMATE: Yesterday was nearly perfect. Morning low 42. Afternoon High 74. It’s still February. This is great stuff. (Normal 67/43)
TODAY: Sunny and nice. The warming trend continues. High 78. Light south wind 4 to 8 mph. Mostly clear tonight. Low 49.

NEXT FEW DAYS: Tomorrow, as a weak front approaches, rain chances are very small. It’s basically a dry front. Behind the front, it will be a few degrees cooler, but the first weekend of March will be very nice, indeed.

Tomorrow’s approaching frontal system will fizzle as it gets closer. Small chance of isolated showers.

Here’s the 10 day model blend temperature trend.

ACTIVE PATTERN NEXT WEEK : A relatively quiet, comfortable weather pattern will continue through the rest of this week and through the first weekend of March. But, stand by. Next week could mark the beginning of a stormy weather pattern.

It’s never EVER good when SPC puts out a Severe Risk 7 days out. Expect a severe threat here by mid week. Tornado risk.
