A PDS Tornado Watch covers much of central and south Alabama till 8PM. The watch area is as far east as Coosa, Elmore, Montgomery counties. PDS means Particularly Dangerous situation. These watches are very rare.
Several strong tornadoes are likely. EF-2’s, EF-3’s, possibly EF-4. Hail up to tennis ball size. Scattered wind gusts to 75 mph are likely.
