MONDAY UPDATE:   Comfortable Week Ahead – Storm-free

Good Morning! The weather news this week is good.  No bumps in the road.  Comfortable temperatures.  Warmer today as the mercury heads to low to mid 80’s. A weak front is approaching, but it’s a dry front.  Clouds increase tonight.  Tuesday starts cloudy with gradual clearing by PM. Wednesday through Friday look great.  Near 80 Thursday and middle 80’s on Good Friday.  I have us storm-free and dry through Saturday. It will be very nice to have a whole week without severe weather. Here’s my brief forecast discussion.

TODAY:  Abundant sunshine.  Warmer. Light wind in the morning. South 5 to 5 gusting to 20 mph in the afternoon.  Increasing clouds tonight.  Mild.  Low 60.  (Normal 78/520

NEXT FEW DAYS:  Text book April weather.  Clouds early Tuesday, gradual clearing later.  Sunshine in abundance  Wednesday through Friday – sunshine will dominate.  Temperatures will be nice. In fact near 80 by Wednesday and probably near 86 on Good Friday.  I have us dry and storm-free through at least Saturday as Easter Weekend begins.  By the way, NEXT week, starting April 23, will be much more active.

Here’s the 10 day model blend temperature trend.  Notice Friday and beyond.  Looks like we are going to get into a very warm pattern.

FULL PINK MOON:  The Full Moon in April is named the Pink Moon after the pink flowers that bloom in spring.  Moonset this morning 6:52.  Moonrise tonight 9:04 PM.  Moonset tomorrow 7:24 AM.
