FRIDAY Update:  Heat, Humidity, More Storms

Good morning!  Radar will be quite active again today.  PM storms will become much more numerous today and Saturday.  The storms will still  be random.  The heat and humidity is still locked in. Highs will reach the low to mid 90’s. Each day the Heat index will reach the 100-105 level.  Lows at night in the muggy low to mid 70’s. Storms will start to thin out a bit starting Sunday. By Sunday and Monday, highs will reach the middle 90’s.  The heat index may cross into the Heat Advisory criteria.   Meanwhile, the tropics remain quiet for now. TODAY:  Sun/cloud mix.  Hi 93.  Heat index 100+   Random Scattered to numerous PM showers & storms,.  Low tonight 74. Light wind.

FUTURE RADAR:  PM storms will become much more numerous today.

NEXT FEW DAYS: Scattered to numerous PM showers and storms Saturday. Highs most days will be in the  low to mid 90’s.  Heat index near or above 100. Lows at night in the low to mid 70’s. Storms will start to thin out a bit starting Sunday. By Sunday and Monday, highs will reach the middle 90’s.  The heat index may cross into the Heat Advisory criteria.

BEACH OUTLOOK: It’s a pretty routine July weekend forecast.  Spotty scattered  random storms. Dry much of the time. Moderate rip current risk. Water temperature in the upper 80’s.

TROPICAL OUTLOOK:  The Tropical Atlantic basin continues to look quiet for now. Hostile atmospheric dynamics continue to stifle tropical development.
