WEDNESDAY Update:  Endless Summer Continues

Good morning!  Air conditioners will be working overtime for the rest of this week, especially late in the week. (Normal hi low s 92/70)  We’ll flirt with 90 today– lower 90’s by Tomorow and middle 90’s by Friday and Saturday. Sunday will be cooler behind a cold front. Best chance of showers again today will be in the northern half of the state. For the rest of us – the rain chance is not zero but very small. Most of the week any showers/storms will be widely scattered.  We have no tropical concerns in this part of the world this week, even though we are approaching the peak of the season. The EURO model shows the tropics coming alive mid-month. Here’s my brief video forecast discussion.

TODAY:  Sun/Cloud mx. Rain chance 10%.   Light wind.  High 89.  Mostly clear tonight.  Low 64.

NEXT FEW DAYS:  It will continue to be dry and sunny Thursday and through the weekend.  Temperatures go back to the 90’s.  Expect mid 90’s by Friday and Saturday.  Sunday and Monday will be cooler.

Not done with SUMMER yet. Not only lower 90’s today and middle 90’s by Friday and Saturday. But, the dewpoints will also be on the rise, sadly, especially Thursday through Saturday. That’ll undoubtedly push the Heat Index at or above 100. Endless Summer. Fall begins three weeks from today.

Here’s the 10 Day Temperature Trend.  Expect mid 90’s by Friday and Saturday.  Sunday and Monday will be cooler.

TROPICAL OUTLOOK:    That Area to watch in the tropical Atlantic is a westward moving Tropical wave.  NHC gives this Area a 70% chance of development.  It’s expected to turn into the open Atlantic.

The EURO remains us we need to watch the Gulf and SE Coastline.

The EURO Ensemble Member Lows continue to advertise the Tropics will come alive by mi-month. Stay tuned.

FALL COUUNTDOWN:  The Autumnal Equinox is now just 21 days away.
