Good morning! It’s a storm-free, dry quiet forecast for the next several days. Today’s high will tease 90 degrees. (Normal hi/lo 86/62) We desperately need rain, but there’s nothing on the horizon. There will be some more reasonable temperatures late week. Highs will be in the lower 80’s. We may even see upper 50’s, perhaps by Friday morning. The tropical news is looking much better for the United States. The projected paths for Humberto and newly formed Imelda will take both systems out to sea. Here’s my brief video forecast discussion.
TODAY: Sunshine. Warm and dry. Light wind. High 89. Mostly clear tonight. Low 66.
NEXT FEW DAYS: It’s a quiet forecast. Sunny days. Mainly clear nights. Completely dry. Highs mostly in the upper 80’s. Low mainly in the middle 60’s. A little cooler late week

Here’s Future Rainfall for the next 7 days. The news is NOT good.

Here’s the 10 Day Temperature Trend. Late this week, we briefly get into more reasonable temperatures. (Normal hi/lo 86/62) Long range – no big cool-down is in our future.

The CPC 6-10 and 8 to 14 day temperature forecast shows the trend for above normal will continue.

TROPICAL OUTLOOK: Two players…Humerto and Imelda.
The news for the United States is very good Both of these storms will leave the SE US alone.
Humberto peaked in intensity over the weekend. It’s still a major hurricane heading out to sea.
Imelda was named yesterday evening. It’s likely to become a hurricane, but now, it looks like Imelda will make an extreme right turn, being pulled out to sea.
The Tropical Spaghetti models for Imelda. A few days ago, we didn’t know what to think, There were three scenarios – two very bad. But, fortunately the models agree – Imelda will be pulled away from US.

Here’s the EURO model Ensembles Member Lows.
