WEDNESDAY Update:  Warm & Dry Start to October

Good morning !  Welcome to October.  It’s a different month, but it’s the same old story.   It’s still very warm and dry forecast for a few more days.  Days and nights will be a little cooler Thursday through Sunday.  There’s some hope for widely scattered showers by Sunday and Monday.  In the tropics, we’re still tracking hurricanes Humberto and Imelda in the Atlantic. Here’s my brief video forecast discussion.

TODAY:   Mostly sunny.  Northeast wind 6 to 12 mph.  High in the upper 80’s.  Mostly clear tonight.  Low 64.

NEXT FEW DAYS:  It’s still a warm & dry forecast.  Mostly sunny days.  Mainly clear nights.  Still mainly dry through Saturday.  Highs will be somewhat lower.  Mostly lower 80’s Thursday through Sunday. Expect some cooler night.  We’ll be near 60 by Friday morning.  Isolated showers are possible Sunday.

Here’s Future Rainfall for the next 7 days.  Isolated showers are possible Sunday.  Fingers crossed.

Here’s the 10 Day Temperature Trend.  Days and nights will be a little cooler Thursday through Sunday. Temperatures will be fairly reasonable over the next 10 days.   (Normal hi/lo 86/62)

TROPICAL OUTLOOK:

Hurricane Humberto is now a Cat. Hurricane and it’s future is going to be limited as this system begins a weakening evolution.

Dangerous marine conditions, including high surf and life-threatening rip currents, will continue to affect beaches of the northern Caribbean, Bahamas, Bermuda, and much of the east coast of the United States through the week.

Cat 1 Hurricane Imelda is headed for Bermuda.  It’ll  be closed to Bermuda tonight.  Hurricane warning remains in effect.

Humberto and Imelda are the only two systems at the moment in the Atlantic basin.

Here’s the EURO model Ensembles Member Lows Map.  Could we see some future tropical trouble in the Gulf?  This outlook intends out to the 8th of October.
