Good Morning! It’s only been 5 days since that Rude Record-breaking Arctic Blast. Since then, our temperatures have turned around in a big way. Friday’s high was 76, again. We’re expecting upper 70’s today and Sunday. (Monday will be slightly cooler behind a week front, but still lower 70’s) But it looks like we’ll be near 80 by Tuesday and Wednesday. The nights are moderating. We’ll be in the 50’s at night for the next several nights. Normal hi/lo 70/43. The drought continues to worsen. We have a dry forecast probably until late Thursday night. The best rain prospects arrives with the next significant storm system on Friday. Have a nice weekend!
TODAY: Sunny and warmer. High 78. Light wind. Mostly clear, Not as cold, with a low around 52. Upper 70’s in Tuscaloosa today for Bama/Oklahoma at 2:30PM.

NEXT FEW DAYS: Spring-time in November continues. A series of very comfortable November days will stick around well into next week. We’ll be in the 70’s the Sunday and Monday. (Monday will be slightly cooler behind a week front, but still lower 70’s) We’ll be near 80 by Tuesday and Wednesday. Even the nights are moderating. FRIDAY STORM SYSTEM: Details of that late week storm system keep changing. Will this system bring a Severe Weather Threat. Too early to say. The models do not agree.


Hopefully it will bring some beneficial rain by late Thursday night through Friday. Fingers crossed as the drought worsens. Here’s expected rainfall through Friday.

Here’s the 10 Day Model Temperature Trend. Above normal days at night at least for the week ahead. Thanksgiving week now looks a little cooler. Highs in the 60’s.
