THURSDAY Update:  Record Highs Likely – Showers Friday

Good Morning!.  Record highs are likely across the South today under a huge dome of Upper Level High Pressure.  Today will be dry,  But, tomorrow a front will approach.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms by Friday PM and Friday night. There could be some leftover showers Saturday AM. Future radar is not very optimistic on rain amounts.   Sunday and Monday look dry.  Another storm system will bring showers and storms Tuesday/Tuesday night/early Wednesday. Much cooler air will follow for Wednesday night and Thanksgiving into Black Friday and Iron Bowl weekend. Here’s my brief Video Forecast Discussion.

TODAY: DENSE FOG ADVISORY for every county in the entire state TILL 9AM.  

Partly sunny.  High 82.  (Record 81/1900)   Light wind.  Mostly cloudy, Mild for November, with a low around 57.  

NEXT FEW DAYS: Still Warm Friday and Saturday with highs near 80, and even upper 70’s Sunday.  Normal hi/lo 69/42. Scattered showers and thunderstorms Friday PM and Friday night. There could be some leftover showers Saturday AM.   Sunday and Monday look dry. 

Another storm system will bring showers and storms Tuesday/Tuesday night/early Wednesday. Much cooler air will follow for Wednesday night and Thanksgiving into Black Friday and Iron Bowl weekend.

Next storm system Tuesday and Tuesday night.  The front moves through early Wednesday.

Expected Rainfall from the Friday PM/Saturday AM storm system is very disappointing for the SE half of Alabama.

Here’s the 10 Day Model Temperature Trend.  Much cooler air will arrive by Wednesday night.  It will be much cooler Thanksgiving into Black Friday and Iron Bowl weekend.

THANKSGIVING WEEK:   Showers and storms become likely by Tuesday night into Wednesday morning before frontal passage. It will be much cooler Thanksgiving into Black Friday and Iron Bowl weekend.

THANKSGIVING:  Dry.  Breezy and cooler.  Mostly sunny.  Morning low 46.  Daytime high 60.  Low Thursday night 36.
