Good Morning! More scattered storms again today. Some of the storms could be strong, and a few could produce damaging wind gusts. A few storms could reach severe limits today and this evening/tonight. The “downburst” threat could produce damaging wind gusts. The Slight Risk extends as far south as northern Elmore and Autuaga and Tallapoosa counties. The Marginal risk extends deep into south Alabama.
The threat for storms will continue well into the evening and night hours. Some of the storms could be strong. A few warnings are not out of the question.
Showers and storms will be around through the father’s Day weekend, with about 50% coverage Saturday and closer to about 30% on Sunday.
